friendly service , inviting environment , very clean and well maintained with very nice traditional Chinese atmosphere. Food was 5 stars! Here's what we ordered 6 pcs fried chicken Egg flour soup Sweet and sour chicken House fried rice House fried lo mien Green bean with garlic sauce Also ordered Togo 3 more entrees and total was about $138. Very reasonable pricing for the quantity and Quality. Definitely our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Tacoma area.
since moving to JBLM, this is the best chinese food we have found! We have been twice now and both times have been really good! The first time we went, it was a little after 7, they had sold out most items but they still seated us, we're super friendly and attentive, and the food was presented beautifully and fresh! We will definitely become weekend regulars!

When pulling into this restaurant, you want to head stair to the back where the lot is. It's a little tight but not unmanageable. You can also enter the restaurant from the backside of the property. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the amazing aroma and the exceptional cleanliness throughout the restaurant. My wife and I were greeted immediately when walking in, and seated within a minute or two. After looking over the menu a bit, we knew what we wanted and the server was there in no time to take our order. Service was so friendly and the two person team did a wonderful job of working together to be truly attentive to each tables needs. Foood: the potstickers are so delicious and so is the general tso's chicken. My wife loved their sweet and sour chicken and I was raving about how amazing the hot and sour soup was. I was so impressed with Forbidden City and I cannot wait to return.

It looks a little sketchy from the outside, but the interior is beautiful. There never seems to be a ton of people inside but the service the few times I have been has been great! We always order a ton of food and it's always taste great. They have a ton of menu options and great combos. It's not too bad on the wallet either. If I want actually Chinese food, this is where I go. It seems to be the only place in Parkland area other than you run of the mill teriyaki spot. I would reccomend it. It's not the most amazing food, but it tastes good and the service is good.
